FAQ, Shipping, Policies and Warranty

Our Promise

We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, and our creations are made to be passed on for generations. We collaborate with our clients throughout the entire process and inform them of every decision being made. Our jewelry is handmade with love to order, and we stand by our work. (exception: 'Curated essential' pieces are made from top-tier vendors)

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If we made a mistake or if there is a defect to your product, we will work with you to correct it.

 

When you make a purchase, you are agreeing to the following policies.  

Our Warranty

  • 1 year complimentary setting repair includes tightening of any loose gemstone or diamond and prong re-tipping.
  • 1 year complimentary accent gemstone/diamond (under 3mm,0.1ct) replacement. 
  • 90-day complimentary chain and clasp repair.
  • Shipping fee will apply to all repairs.  (must purchase shipping insurance with signature confirmation)

Fine jewelry is not impervious to normal wear, activities, or trauma. Damage from accidents or normal wear and tear is not covered, and a repair cost will apply. Please note, clients will be responsible for the shipping cost of their pieces.

We highly recommend insuring your jewelry item with a reputable insurance provider (such as Jewelers Mutual) for your peace of mind.

 

Returns

“Ready to Ship” pieces that have not been resized or altered can be returned within 10 days of delivery. A restocking fee of $100 will apply. Please contact us to verify the eligibility before shipping. 

Please note that you are responsible for the shipping fee. Your refund will process once we inspect the piece and approve the return. We are not responsible for items lost during shipment.

All made to order pieces including custom design pieces are final sale. Please make your selection carefully and feel free to contact us with questions.

 

Maintenance

We recommend all jewelry pieces set with diamonds and gemstones be checked annually. We provide no-cost checks to our pieces for the life of the jewelry. Please note, clients will be responsible for the shipping cost of their pieces. If we think a repair needs to be performed, we will proceed with your approval and a repair fee will apply.


Ring Sizing

Let us know which ring style you are interested in and we will give you guidance for the ring size.

You can also request our plastic ring sizer, which is available here.

Not all rings are sizable. For rings that are sizable, we offer one free sizing for the rings we made within 30 days of their purchase. Please note, clients will be responsible for the shipping cost of their pieces.


Shipping

USA: UPS or USPS
Complimentary insured 2 day shipping for purchases over $500.
$10 shipping USPS Priority for purchases under $500.

Canada: UPS or FedEx 
$40 shipping for purchases $500 and over. Shipping will take approximately 10 days.

Rest of the World: UPS or DHL 
$80 shipping for purchases $500 and over. Shipping will take approximately 15 days.

We ship insured and you will be provided with a tracking number upon shipping.  For order over $500, a signature will be required and you are responsible for providing us address you can receive on the day it arrives.  Expedited shipping is available with an additional charge. Please contact us to inquire before placing an order.

We are not responsible for the package once the delivery has been confirmed.

All international customers are required to pay any applicable custom fees, duties, or taxes that their country requires upon entry of the goods. These fees are not charged by us, and therefore, cannot be refunded by us. If parcels are refused, original and return shipping expenses will be charged to your original form of payment.

*We currently do not ship to Nigeria, and a few other countries. If we are unable to ship to your country with full insurance we will notify you.

Taxes

We charge sales tax for orders shipped within the state of Texas. Orders shipped to all other states do not incur any sales tax.


FAQs

Can I send diamond/gemstones I want to use in its original setting?

If your gemstones are sent to us in a setting, our jewelers will carefully remove them. Please note that the complexity of this process varies depending on the setting and some are more difficult than others. While our jewelers take every precaution and are highly skilled, in some cases damage to the setting may occur. ELFJ is not responsible for any damage that occurs to personal stones during unmounting. 


Are you able to recycle my original setting?

Yes, you may seek a credit toward your project if you would like us to recycle the old setting.  Recycling credits are based on weight and the exact price of the materials on a daily basis. 

Can you use part of my original setting in my new setting?

We are unable to recycle your original setting directly into your new setting due to unique alloy mixtures and integral concerns. 

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide.

Do you offer gift wrap?
Our jewelry are shipped in a jewelry box with a bow. If you have specific request, we are happy to help.

Do you offer repairs?
We offer repair service on pieces that are purchased from us only.
